Calabogie Sewing Retreat - November 5th-8th 2026 SINGLE ROOM

The Fabrications sewing retreats are back for another year! Enjoy a weekend getaway at the foot of scenic Dickson Mountain for three days of sewing, community, and relaxation. 

Enjoy delicious meals, warm company and be inspired by a room buzzing with creativity! 

Retreat attendees will spend a three day weekend at the newly renovated Calabogie Peaks Resort Hotel.  Bring your own projects and let us take care of everything else.  We'll have experienced staff on hand to give guidance and advice about a wide range of projects, and help you make the most of your time.

What's included:

• a casual check-in, anytime after 4pm on Thursday evening
• access to our sewing room from check in, all day Friday, all day Saturday, and until lunch time on Sunday
• all meals, refreshments and snacks on Friday and Saturday
• breakfast, lunch on Sunday
• a luxurious room Shared by just two people, or a Single room all to yourself
  
• a fun group mystery sew-along, with all supplies and tools included
• swag bag with the basics you may have forgotten to bring, plus fun goodies
• specialty tools, machines, irons and ironing boards brought from the store.  No need to bring your own. 
• rental sewing machines will be available as an add-on for those who prefer to not travel with their own machines
• exclusive access to fresh new products, and premium irons and ironing boards used during the retreat at amazing discounts.
  
• use of the hotels pool and outdoor hot tub (if available)
• free access to the Resorts property and walking trails
• non-crafting guests are welcome in Single Rooms, and we can add them to our meal plan for an additional fee of $375

Fees and Payment Schedule:

• Retreat may be paid in full for $975 for a Shared Room or $1175 for a Single Room
• or
• You can secure your seat for a non-refundable deposit at time of purchase, with additional deposits made on July 1st, and September1st
  
• Shared Room fees: 1st Deposit is $375, 2nd Deposit is $300, 3rd Deposit is $300
• Single Room fees: 1st Deposit is $475, 2nd Deposit is $350, 3rd Deposit is $350
• Retreat is non-refundable, but if you find you need to withdraw, we can offer you store credit, minus the initial deposit until September 15th.  After September 15th, no refunds are possible. 
  

Guests are welcome to arrive at 4pm on Thursday and can either dine in the Hotel restaurant, or at one of the delicious cafes in Calabogie that evening.  You are welcome to set up as soon as you arrive and start sewing right away! 

The Resort has elevators to access rooms on the second and third floors and there is ample free parking.  The sewing room is accessed by a ramp or stairs on one side of the building, or by a door that is level to the parking lot on the other side of the building.

Calabogie Peaks Resort is approximately a 1 hour drive from the store, and we're happy to help connect Retreat attendees who would like to carpool.
