Since 2012, we’ve been growing rapidly, especially so since 2020, as more people have discovered the joy of crafting and sewing. Now, we need YOU to help create energy and excitement around making!

As our Retail Clerk, you’ll be the first friendly face our customers see, guiding them through their crafting journey. Your mission? To discover their needs and provide tailored solutions that inspire creativity. We believe everyone is creative, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring each customer leaves with everything they need for their project—and a smile on their face!

In this role, you’ll collaborate with an enthusiastic team to guarantee every customer enjoys the “perfect purchase.” This means engaging with them, asking the right questions, and celebrating their crafting achievements. Expect busy days filled with multitasking, lifting heavy fabrics, and maintaining attention to detail to ensure both online orders and in-store procedures are executed flawlessly.

What you will bring to the team:

• Knowledge of sewing, knitting, crochet and/or other fibre arts is a must.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Service-minded with troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
• Ability to deliver great customer experiences in a very active environment.
• Strong communication skills that let you chat as easily and comfortably with small groups as with individual customers, as well as working effectively with a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace change.
• Enthusiasm for being a team player by supporting and being there to help your team.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related field.
• Bilingual in English & French.

• Are able to work a minimum of 6 hours per day.

Physical Requirements:

• Handling merchandise which entails lifting boxes and fabric up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with only short rest breaks; reach, bend, stoop, etc. to handle products.
