Join our Sewing Drop-In! Bring your sewing projects and get hands-on help from an experienced instructor. Whether you're working on something new or need advice to finish a project, we're here to assist. Perfect for all skill levels!  Laura will be available on Fridays from 3pm-6pm in our classroom to help you with anything your heart desires! Come for an hour or stay the whole time!

Some possible help topics include: measuring, fit, seam finishing, interpreting pattern instructions, brainstorming construction techniques, refashioning thrifted clothes. 

Prerequisites:

  • you must be able to operate the sewing machine without assistance

We will provide:

  • use of one (1) class sewing machine and/or the use of one large cutting tables
  • any tools necessary for sewing (rotary cutter, rulers, marking tools, pins, etc)

You will need to bring (if applicable):

  • all pattern instruction sheets and pattern pieces
  • all the materials for your project (thread, notions, fabric, cut pieces)
