Citrus, quince, pears, melons, pomegranates, peppers, and blossoms are expertly rendered with dots and linework, adding colour tones and definition across the fabric. Inspired by the concept of Victory Gardens – homegrown plots of food that supported wartime rations and morale – the design echoes a bold, graphic style, capturing the spirit of self-sufficiency and resilience. This print is part of the first chapter in this collection, Story Garden, which explores the narratives that are woven in and around cultivated botanical spaces, taking inspiration from historic pleasure grounds and wartime victory gardens - highlighting humanity’s necessity for community and finding solace through nature.
