Originally printed for Liberty in 1962, it features a dense tapestry of blossom, solanum, leafy vines, and twisting tendrils, all intertwined with clusters of nourishing berries. Celebrating the garden as a vital source of sustenance, the design reflects nature’s generosity and the enduring connection between cultivation and survival. This print is part of the first chapter in this collection, Story Garden, which explores the narratives that are woven in and around cultivated botanical spaces, taking inspiration from historic pleasure grounds and wartime victory gardens - highlighting humanity’s necessity for community and finding solace through nature.
