Learn to Sew - Matchy Matchy Bow Boxer Shorts Class (Beginner - Sewing)

The Matchy Matchy Bow Boxer shorts are the perfect little shorts for those hot and humid days ahead. They have been designed with simple shapes and easy construction to take the overwhelm out of sewing so you can enjoy the process of discovering a new skill.
This class is three sessions. Please make sure you are able to attend all sessions.
This class has no prerequisites, but knowledge on how to thread a sewing machine and winding a bobbin would be an asset.
In this class you learn:
- How to operate a sewing machine
- How to measure yourself and choose the correct size or grade between sizes
- How to sew straight and curved lines
- How to finish raw edges
- How to create ties
- How to make an elastic channel
You will need:
- Tracing paper

Fabric: consider chambray, linen, lawn, voile or cotton shirting with some drape.

For 54” wide fabric, 1m approximately - Exact fabric requirements can be found in the pattern instructions

- Matching thread
- 1.5m of 1.5" wide elastic
We will provide:
- A digital copy of the pattern and the printed AO pages of the pattern
- a sewing machine for in-class use
- sewing tools for in-class use
