Sewing Machine Repair Appointment Deposit

The $50.00 is a non-refundable deposit that will go towards the fee of the sewing machine repair.  A basic service costs from $129.00 to $199.00+ (see chart below).  The technician will email you if you machine requires more than a basic service with an estimate.

• Mechanical Machine - Basic Service $129.00
• Computerized Machine - Basic Service $149.00
• High End Machine - Basic Service $199.00
• Vintage Sewing Machine (made prior to 2000)- the price can vary.  Service requirements can differ significantly depending on the machine’s condition, frequency of use, and how long it has been stored without regular maintenance. Machines that have been unused for extended periods or exposed to dust, humidity, or improper storage may require more extensive servicing to restore optimal performance.

Keep your sewing machine running smoothly with our professional maintenance and cleaning service! Each machine will be carefully cleaned, lubricated as needed and tested so you can get back to sewing with confidence.

In order to get your machine back to you as quickly as possible, usually within 5 business days, we are currently limiting service appointments to eight (8) per week. 

• Machine drop off days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Machine pick-up day is the following Monday. 

You may drop off your machine at any time during business hours on the day you book. We will email you to confirm that your machine is ready for pick-up on the following Monday.  If you need to drop off your machine on a day other than listed above, please contact us. 

Notes:

• Please bring your regular presser foot, power cord, foot pedal and a compatible bobbin for your machine.  Please do not bring any covers or accessories in the machine.
• If our technician discovers that your machine needs a repair, they will contact you to inform you and discuss options. A repair may delay your pick-up date. 
• We can perform maintenance on most brands of sewing machine to help keep it running smoothly. We can not service Bernina machines. However, please note that for repairs, we may not have access to parts or service manuals for brands other than Janome. In those cases, we’ll let you know if we’re unable to complete the repair.
• We will add sergers, coverstitch and embroidery machines to our service list soon. Please call us to inquire about your machine if you are unsure if we are able to service your machine.
