Learn to Sew Christmas Stockings Class (Beginner - Sewing - Bilingual)

Can you believe we are already headed toward the end of the year and that means the holidays are slowly going to creep up on us. Get ahead of the chaos and join us for some early festive sewing with this great stocking panel. This beginner level sewing class is great for new sewist and for those that just want to come out and learn a new skill. In class you will complete 1 full stocking, but you'll have the opportunity to make 2 more on your own.  The stockings would make great gifts or keep them for yourself or use them as decorations around your home. 

This class has no prerequisites, just come on out and have fun in this 2 session beginner class.

You will learn: 

  • how to cut your pattern pieces
  • thread your bobbin and our class machines
  • sew straight and curved lines
  • sew pivot corners
  • how to follow a seam 

You will need: 

  • 0.5M of quilting cotton for the lining
  • 1 Fat Quarter of coordinating fabric for the back of the stocking 
  • matching thread

We will provide:

  • the panel with the preprinted stockings
  • sewing machines for in class use
  • all the necessary tools for a successful project

This class will be taught be Katherine who is a bilingual teacher.
