Elvis is a women’s elastic-waist pants sewing pattern featuring a signature asymmetric front pleat, with a straight or slightly barrel leg, available in sizes 0 to 32.
Designed for discerning beginners, Elvis is an elastic-waist pants pattern with real character. Far from a basic design, it embraces a structured simplicity, focusing on shape and style while never compromising ease of construction.
Approachable yet refined, Elvis offers the opportunity to sew a garment with a strong personality from your very first steps into pants-making. Its straight or barrel leg, 7/8 length, and mid-rise (Size Range 1) or high-rise (Size Range 2) silhouette create a clean, confident look.
The asymmetric front pleat adds a subtle graphic signature, transforming a comfortable everyday pair of pants into a truly distinctive design.
FABRIC RECOMMANDATIONS:
The fabrics used for the prototypes come from Metermeter. For a structured yet comfortable result, choose light- to medium-weight stable fabrics, with a weight of around 120 to 220 g/m².
Recommended fabrics include:
- Cotton poplin, chambray, denim or lightweight corduroy, linen / tencel blends, or cotton / tencel blends.
- Avoid overly fluid or slippery fabrics, such as some lightweight viscose or very drapey tencel, as they will not hold the shape of the pants and may make sewing more challenging.

Flat Rate Shipping
- We offer a flat rate of $12 for shipping for all orders $149.99 and under (before taxes) being shipped within Canada.
- Free shipping for all orders $150 and over (before taxes) being shipped within Canada.
- Sewing machines, sewing desks and chairs and bulky items are excluded from the free shipping offer.
- Flat rate shipping orders generally ship out on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- We use Canada Post and UPS but reserve the right to use other carriers at our discretion.
Local Delivery -
- We also offer local delivery with Trexity within the city of Ottawa and surrounding region.
- We send out your package with Trexity within 1 to 2 days once your order is completed.
- The cost is $6 for orders $24.99 and under (before taxes), $3 for orders $25.00 to $74.99 (before taxes) and free for orders over $75.00 (before taxes).
- Please note that during high-volume order times, it may take us longer than 1-2 days to send out your order.
