Kids Can Sew!! Holiday Caregiver and Child Make and Take (Beginner)

The seasons are changing and in the blink of an eye we will shift from Halloween to Christmas, Hanukkah and plenty of other traditional Holidays that will keep us all in a festive mood to get together with our loved ones and enjoy plenty of yummy feasts. This holiday make and take is perfect to get the little kids excited to help set the table and an opportunity for them to show off their amazing creations to all your guests. It's the perfect class for kids interested in learning to sew or a little creator who's always up to try something new. This Holiday Make and Take will have you and your little one sewing up some fun little cutlery pockets to help dress up your dinner tables this season. 

This a great gentle introduction to sewing for kids and adults alike. There are no prerequisites to this class and the supervising adult needs no sewing experience. Kids must be 6-12 yrs old. 

You will learn how to;

• sew in a straight line
• follow simple instructions
• sew a pivot turn
• use a sewing machine

You will need;

• 0.5m of quilting cotton for the interior
• 0.5m of quilting cotton for the exterior
• coordinating thread
  

We will provide;

• all the necessary tools for a successful project
• the use of our classroom machine

This class has a minimum registration of 3 and a maximum of 5. A list of our class policies can be found here.
