Quilted Bow Class (Advanced Beginner - Sewing)

Make a statement with this oversized, quilted bow! Perfect as a festive tree topper, a charming door decoration, or a cute nursery accent, this class guides you through creating your very own Big Giant Quilted Bow.

This class is three sessions.  Please make sure you can attend all sessions.

Prerequisites:

• you must know how to operate a sewing machine (threading, winding a bobbin, sewing a basic seam)
• familiarity with quilting is a bonus

You will learn:

• how to cut squares
• how to piece squares together
• how to quilt top to batting
• how to use a walking foot for quilting
• how to put bow together

You will need:

• to purchase a copy of the pattern here.  We do not provide a copy of the pattern.
  • please either print out the pattern instructions or have them available on your phone or tablet for the class.
• 8 fat quarters or 8 1/4 yard cuts or 153 4" squares
• batting in crib size
• matching thread (we only provide white or black polyester thread)

We will provide:

• use of a sewing machine and any tools needed during class
• a zip tie to hand your quilt
