Plied Yarns Pennsylvania Ave Bundle

Bundle include 4 half skeins of Plied Yarns Pennsylvania Ave yarn.  Each half skein is 25g.

This bundle was created to create a super fun and easy crocheted star garland. 

Here is the pattern:

Abbreviations This pattern uses US terms

MR = magic ring

CH = chain

SS = slip stitch

SC = single crochet

DC = double crochet

Instructions Hook size 5mm

Star:

Make MR.

CH 1 [SC, DC, CH2, DC] into magic loop. This makes the star points.

Repeat pattern 4 times, creating 5 star points total.

SC into MR

SS into first CH

Fasten off. Tighten MR and pinch star points into shape. Thread in your yarn tails.

Repeat these steps to make desired number of stars

Garland:

*CH 50, SS into star point*, repeat * to * until you have connected all of your stars to the garland.

CH 50.

Fasten off.

Plied is a new yarn line that Karida Collins (Neighborhood Fiber Co.) and Ann Weaver (weaverknits) conceived when touring the Harrisville Designs mill in New Hampshire. Penn Ave is their second yarn: a 100% non-superwash wool, two-ply woolen spun, worsted or aran weight yarn, spun at Harrsiville and hand-dyed in Baltimore.

To celebrate the city of Baltimore—both its past and its current developments—Plied colors are named for Baltimore traditions, locations, and personalities.
