Crystal Creek Quilt Class (Intermediate - Sewing)

Have you been quilting for a bit but would like to improve on your skills? Would you like to learn a new skill? The Crystal Creek quilt by The Blanket Statement is a modern, original quilt pattern is perfect for intermediate quilters! This oversized, 18" block-based pattern features flying geese and half rectangle triangles. Join Kirstin, and learn how to do these classic quilting techniques. In this class you will make the small throw size (54" x 72) quilt top. You will only make the quilt top in this class and will need to quilt and bind it on your own.
This class is four sessions. Please make sure you can attend all sessions.
Prerequisites:
- you must know how to operate a sewing machine (threading, winding a bobbin, sewing a basic seam)
- you must have experience with quilting, ie. can maintain a consistent 1/4" seam, HSTs, piecing, pressing and cutting
You will learn:
- how to make flying geese
- how to make half rectangle triangles
You will need:
- fabric for your quilt top - please click here for requirements
- matching thread (we only provide white or black polyester thread)
We will provide:
- a copy of the pattern
- use of a sewing machine and any tools needed during class
