A two-piece collar is the defining feature of a button-up shirt. There are many methods for constructing and inserting a two-piece collar; in this class you'll learn the method that I've found produces consistently good results. We'll cut, interface and construct a sample collar and discuss how to adapt the method for various fabrics.
Please note that this class is for learning the skills only and you will not have a finished project at the end of this class. However, you will have samples for future reference.
Prerequisites:
- How to thread and use a sewing machine
- How to wind a bobbin
- How to construct simple seams
- Be familiar with basic sewing terminology
- Familiar with basic garment construction
