What might a more experienced garment sewist be wishing for? Here are some of our ideas to help them level up their skills!
There are a few tools that a sewist would love to have in their kit- those specific tools that really streamline their sewing! A buttonhole gauge is a really cool way to measure out button placement, pleats, or anything you need to space evenly.
A tailor's ham or seam roll helps iron those tricky areas like sleeves, pant legs or curved seams. Create a professional look without adding creases where they don't belong.
A bias tape maker can turn a potentially tedious task into a piece of cake. Just heat up your iron and feed your fabric strips through it for perfectly folded straps and facings! They come in several commonly used sizes for garment projects.
An investment into a great pair of shears is an amazing gift for a sewist. Or, if there is more space to set up your project, a cutting mat and rotary cutter make a great combo as well. Either way- the ability to make sharp, accurate cuts is PRICELESS to a sewist!
Labels are ALWAYS a fun idea- a lovely touch to show pride in your sewing (and remind you which side is the back)! Our labels are so cute, you’ll want to sew them on the outside of your clothes!
