Remy Raglan Class (Advanced Beginner - Sewing)

The Remy Raglan Top is a simple, timeless top that is quick to make. It features a relaxed fit at the bust and waist with three sleeve choices and an optional keyhole button closure.
This is a three session class. Please make sure you can attend all sessions.
You can see the Remy Raglan pattern here. (You do not need to purchase the pattern as it is included in the class fee)
Prerequisites:
- how to thread and use a sewing machine
- how to wind a bobbin
- how to construct simple seams
- be familiar with sewing terminology such as "right sides of fabric together" and "seam allowance"
You will learn how to:
- take your measurements and pick the correct pattern size
- read and follow a pattern
- sew a neckline with bias tape
- sew a key hole neckline
- hem sleeves and bottom of shirt
You will need:
- tracing paper

This pattern is designed for lightweight linen, but any lightweight woven will do. If you choose a more rigid fabric such as cotton lawn, the neck may appear smaller and the bottom hem fuller. For short sleeve option choose a fabric with no obvious wrong side. (you can find what we have available here and here)

We will provide:
- a copy of the pattern
