Garment Fitting Help

Struggling to get the perfect fit on your sewn garment? Bring your garment to our fitting help session and get personalized advice from an experienced instructor. Whether it’s adjustments to patterns, or learning fitting techniques, this session is all about helping you achieve a flawless fit. Come ready to ask questions, make tweaks, and take your sewing to the next level!

Prerequisites:

• you must be able to operate the sewing machine without assistance
• have knowledge of garment sewing

We will provide:

• use of one (1) class sewing machine and/or the use of our large cutting tables
• any tools necessary for sewing (rotary cutter, rulers, marking tools, pins, etc)

A fitting instructor will:

• Assess the fit of your garment and identify areas for adjustment.
• Provide personalized advice on making alterations to improve the fit.
• Demonstrate fitting techniques, such as pinning, marking, or pattern modifications.
• Ensure a supportive, collaborative atmosphere where you feel confident tackling your project.
