Chantilly Crocheted Summer Top Class (Intermediate - Crochet)

The Chantilly Summer Top is perfect for a sun-soaked summer day. Crafted with lacy crochet stitches, this sleeveless top can be dressed up or down, making it a great staple for your handmade wardrobe.  This class will have 3 sessions, run every TWO weeks to give you time to work on your project in between sessions.

Prerequisites:

• Comfortable with basic crochet stitches such as single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet

You will learn:

• How to read a pattern
• How to make a gauge swatch
• Half-double crochet ribbing
• Single crochet mesh stitch
• Simple garment shaping
• Seaming a crochet garment
• Blocking your garment

You will need:

• A copy of the pattern

• Sport weight yarn (see size chart in pattern for quantity)
  • You can see what we have here.
• 4.0mm crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
